Major classical repertoire performed at TEMPO Portimão as part of the 10th Algarve International Piano Festival

The 10th edition of the Algarve International Piano Festival brings an evening of classical music to TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão on February 28, starting at 7pm, featuring some of the most recognised works in the classical music canon.

ESART Symphony Orchestra

The programme will open with the Overture Ruslan and Lyudmila by Glinka, followed by the famous Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16 by Edvard Grieg, performed by well-known Portuguese pianist António Rosado, accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the Higher School of Applied Arts. The evening will conclude with Scheherazade, Op. 35 by Rimsky-Korsakov, under the artistic direction and programming by Maestro Armando Mota.

Produced by Associação Arte do Sul, the concert continues the festival’s tradition of bringing internationally recognised classical works to Algarve audiences.

Tickets cost €20 for regular seating and €15 for the balcony. Tickets are available via the bol.pt website or directly from TEMPO Portimão, from Tuesday to Saturday between 1pm and 6pm, and on performance nights until the start of the show.
