Three days of elite boxing
The 7th edition of the Algarve Box Cup 2026 returns to Lagoa between January 23 and 25, bringing three days of top-level boxing to the Jacinto Correia Municipal Sports Pavilion.
Regarded as the biggest boxing competition in the Algarve and one of the most prestigious in Portugal, the event is expected to once again draw top boxers from all over the world.
“The last edition of ABC, in 2025, was also hosted by Lagoa and was attended by 103 elite boxers from 17 countries. The feedback makes us believe that the event will grow exponentially this year,” organisers say on the event’s website.
As part of the Portuguese Boxing Federation’s official calendar, the three-day Algarve Box Cup is expected to attract large crowds.
