Pop-up exhibition at Zephyr Gallery explores the his photographs spanning more than 50 years
American photographer and photojournalist Eric Roth will present a special pop-up exhibition at Zephyr Gallery in Silves on Saturday, October 24, from 11am to 2pm.
The exhibition will offer visitors an opportunity to explore his work spanning more than five decades and hear the stories behind his photographs.

Throughout his career, Roth has photographed architecture, interiors, landscapes and everyday life, building a diverse portfolio that reflects his interest in people and places.
Since moving from the United States to the Algarve in 2021, much of his work has focused on Portugal, capturing the country’s landscapes, culture and local communities.
Roth describes his approach to photography as a way of capturing the “feeling of a place and the beauty of living there”, something reflected in his photographs of Portugal.
Alongside his photography, Roth works as a freelance photojournalist and contributes to The Resident newspaper and Inside magazines, covering topics such as art, culture and the environment.
Located in the historic centre of Silves, Zephyr Gallery is dedicated to showcasing contemporary art by international artists living and working in Portugal, hosting exhibitions and cultural events throughout the year.
The gallery is located at Rua João de Deus 20-B, Silves.
