On display until July 25 at LAC – Laboratório de Actividades Criativas, in Lagos, Laboratório do Atlântico (Atlantic Laboratory) brings together artists connected to São Tomé and Príncipe as a place of creation, memory and reflection.
Featuring both Santomean artists and others who have developed work in the archipelago, the exhibition explores themes of movement, labour, identity and resistance, with the Atlantic serving as a space of encounters, journeys and cultural exchange.
Curated by João Carlos Silva and Ricardo Barbosa Vicente, the exhibition reflects on the stories and debates emerging from this island territory and places them within a broader dialogue.
Admission is free.
