Carvoeiro ready to ring in summer

Now in its 11th edition, the event has grown from a local party to one of the most anticipated free parties in Portugal.

Acting as the (un)official start of the summer season in the Algarve, the Black & White Night annually attracts over 30,000 people to the beachside town with its selection of live performances, DJ sets and street entertainment.

Dressing in black and white is highly encouraged as the town’s streets are also stylishly decorated in line with the event’s name.

The party takes place along the three main streets – Rua dos Pescadores, Rua do Barranco and Estrada do Farol – with stages set up at strategic locations, including Carvoeiro’s beachside square and the Nossa Senhora da Encarnação chapel.
