Three-day event will bring together leading wine producers, chefs and wine lovers for tastings, masterclasses and dinners from October 9 to 11.
Vila Vita Parc will host the first edition of Wine in the Parc from October 9 to 11, bringing together wine producers, winemakers, chefs, sommeliers and wine lovers for three days of tastings, masterclasses and gastronomic experiences.
Organised by blue Travel and Vila Vita Parc, the event will feature more than 25 wine producers from Portugal and leading international wine regions across two Walk Around Wine Tastings.
Confirmed names include Anselmo Mendes, Antinori, António Maçanita, Barbeito, Bodegas Tradición, Bollinger, Vega Sicilia, Casa da Passarella, Dönnhoff, José Maria da Fonseca, Menin Douro Estates, Quinta do Crasto, Quinta do Noval, Soalheiro, Casa Ferreirinha, Luís Pato, Palmer, Pago de Carraovejas and Vincent Girardin, among others.
The programme includes a series of small-group masterclasses covering different wine regions and styles, from Alvarinho and Riesling to wines from the Douro, Ribera del Duero, Bairrada, Dão, Burgundy, the Azores and Sicily. Fortified wines from Porto, Madeira, Setúbal and Jerez will also feature.
One of the highlights will be Sailing with Bollinger, taking guests aboard the Solaris Whitestar for a Champagne tasting along the Algarve coast.
Food will also play a central role, with lunches, wine dinners and pairings taking place across the resort. The event will conclude on October 11 with a Kitchen Party, where Vila Vita Parc’s kitchens will open to guest chefs for an evening of food, wine and music.
