Lagoa will welcome “the greatest tenor of all time in Portugal”

Algarve Jazz Orchestra welcomes the Christmas spirit with a magical concert entitled ‘A Lyrical White Christmas’.

Carlos Guilherme, “the greatest tenor of all time in Portugal”, will join the Algarve Jazz Orchestra once again for ‘A Lyrical White Christmas’, presenting seasonal staples interpreted through the lyricism of jazz opera.

Taking place on December 14 at 7pm at the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium in Lagoa, spectators will be immersed in the true jazzy Christmas spirit.

With a selection of themes by composers such as George Gershwin, Cole Porter and many others, the public will travel back in time with timeless favourites such as ‘I’ve Got Rhythm’ and ‘Begin the Beguine’.

The concert symbolizes the end of the tour year for the Algarve Jazz Orchestra, which is also celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Tickets cost €10 per person and can be purchased online at BOL’s website, as well as at the venue. There is also a 20% discount for those with the Passaporte Cultural, Rota do Petisco, or Cartão Lagoa Social.

Entry is permitted for children aged 6 and up. Doors will open at 6.45pm.
