12th Rally Cidade de Portimão promises high-speed thrills

Motorsports excitement returns to the Algarve this weekend, between May 10 and 11, with the 12th edition of the Rally Cidade de Portimão, with 33 teams registered for the Southern Rally Championship.
Kicking off on Saturday, May 10 at 9pm under the night lights, with the Night Super Special held on Avenida 25 de Abril, near Liceu de Portimão.
On Sunday, May 11, the action continues with timed classification stages in Rasmalho and Senhora do Verde. The Rasmalho stages begin at 10.30am, 11.40am, and 1.40pm, and Senhora do Verde at 10.50am, 12pm, and 2.05pm.
Organised by Clube Automóvel do Sul and endorsed by the Portuguese Federation of Automobilism and Karting (FPAK), the Rally Cidade de Portimão stands out as a key event on the regional motorsports calendar. It combines intense competition, technical precision, and visual spectacle in a scenic Algarve setting.
The event is free and open to the public, offering motorsports enthusiasts a unique opportunity to witness expert driving and high-speed action up close.
