Palm Properties Portugal began eight years ago when Jeroen Haen and business partner Erik de Vlieger acquired an existing agency “from an Englishman who wanted to retire in Brazil.”

A native of Amsterdam who has lived in Portugal for 16 years, he and his family are fully immersed in the country’s culture – his children attend Portuguese school, he voted in recent elections, and the firm sponsors the local football team.
Palm’s multilingual office (covering Dutch, Portuguese, English, French and German) ensures every buyer – from Canada to The Netherlands – receives advice in their native language, boasting communication and eliminating any inaccuracies that might arise from what sometimes ‘gets lost in translation’.
