The artist’s work remains on display in Portimão until January 31
An exhibition by artist Alisa Aidarova is on display at Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes, in Portimão, until January 31, giving visitors the chance to explore a diverse selection of her work.
Working with a wide range of techniques and materials, Alisa is constantly experimenting and exploring new ideas, offering visitors a varied and engaging visual experience.
Born into a family of artists, Alisa has loved drawing since childhood. She grew up surrounded by creativity and later developed a strong academic background in fine arts and architecture.
Much of her professional life was spent in Moscow, where she worked as an interior designer, creating murals for her projects and painting portraits and landscapes for interior spaces. Despite her success in a major city, she always felt more connected to nature than to urban life.
That connection led her to Portugal in 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic. The move proved to be a turning point, as she found a calmer and more inspiring environment where she could focus on her artistic practice. This marked the beginning of her creative journey in Portugal.
Over the course of her career, Alisa has exhibited her work in several countries, including Russia, Spain, Portugal, and the United States.
The exhibition can be visited at Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes, Tuesday to Friday from 10am and 12.30pm, and between 2pm and 5pm, and on Saturdays from 2pm to 5pm. Entry is free.
