Easter Quest – 60 Years Edition blends gastronomy, well-being and discovery
Vilalara Grand Hotel Algarve, in Porches, is marking Easter with the celebration of its 60-year history, bringing together a programme that blends gastronomy, well-being, sports and moments of discovery.
At the centre of the celebrations is the Easter Quest – 60 Years Edition, an experience that reimagines the traditional egg hunt. Guests are invited to follow a guided trail across the resort, where 60 eggs are hidden, each representing a year in Vilalara’s story.
Each discovery unlocks an exclusive experience to be enjoyed during a future stay. These range from culinary moments and well-being treatments to sports sessions and added accommodation benefits, giving guests something to look forward to beyond Easter itself.
Food also takes a leading role throughout the programme. On April 18, Good Friday evening, Coral – Éden do Mar restaurant, recently listed among the recommended restaurants in the Michelin Guide Portugal 2026, will present a tasting menu centred on Atlantic flavours and seasonal ingredients.
On April 20, Easter Sunday, Raízes – Horta da Terra restaurant will serve a special lunch rooted in Portuguese tradition, with a contemporary approach. The experience begins with sharing starters such as flambéed coastal prawns, accompanied by slow-fermented bread and Algarve olives, before moving on to dishes including cod with cornbread and wood-fired lamb. Desserts follow a similar idea, offering reworked takes on classic recipes (€67 per person).
Sports and well-being are also part of the line-up. Between March 31 and April 1, the resort will host the LUX Tennis Star Event, featuring former professional tennis player Tommy Robredo. Once ranked number five in the ATP rankings and winner of 12 ATP tournaments, Robredo will take part in sessions, lessons and guest interactions, offering a closer look at the world of professional tennis.
The Kids Club will run activities inspired by spring and Easter traditions, from egg painting and creative workshops to interactive storytelling.
