For almost three decades, Supermercado Baptista has been part of everyday life in Praia da Luz, building a close relationship with residents and visitors alike.
As the Baptista Wine Experience comes to an end, the team is now turning its attention back to the supermarket where it all began, bringing some of the energy and ideas developed over recent months into the store and planning new initiatives designed to make each visit an opportunity to discover something different.
“The Baptista Wine Experience was another way for us to introduce our customers to the products and producers behind our selection,” states manager Beatriz Batista.
That experience is now paving the way for in-store product tastings, sampling sessions and themed fairs, including events dedicated to cheese and wine.
According to Beatriz Batista, the idea is to give customers more opportunities to discover different flavours and products, whilst showcasing the supermarket’s various sections and continuing to pay close attention to their suggestions.
“The feedback we receive is essential. It helps us understand what’s working, where we can improve and, above all, what our customers would like to find in the supermarket,” she explains.
That close relationship with customers will remain at the heart of this new chapter, as Supermercado Baptista prepares new partnerships, products and experiences aimed at bringing something new to every visit.
