Zoomarine unveils new “fast-paced water slide”

Zoomarine theme park in Guia has unveiled its latest thrill ride – the Quetzal water slide.

Visitors will be able to compete with friends and family as they “plunge down the 178 metres of twisting and turning slides, reaching incredible speeds”, whilst the “surrounding tropical vegetation provides the perfect backdrop for an exhilarating adventure”.

The new ride was designed “in close collaboration with the world leading water park developers ProSlide Technology inc, Canada with the highest safety standards,” the theme park adds.

“ProSlide is very proud of our second collaboration with Zoomarine. This ride will bring a completely new, innovative and shared family experience attraction to Portugal that does not exist anywhere in the peninsula,” says Aaron Wilson, Proslide Vice President of Business Development – Europe.

“We worked closely with the Zoomarine team to design a ride that would respect and complement the beautiful landscape and topography of the park whilst also ensuring to deliver a fast-paced ride that would suit the high expectations of their visitors,” he adds.
