Amendoeira Golf Resort shows off its brand new, family-friendly facilities
As golf courses reopen, Amendoeira Golf Resort in Alcantarilha (Silves) is showing off its brand new, family-friendly facilities to complement the existing, award-winning golf offering.
The resort, set over 270 hectares of gently undulating land, has just undergone an extensive redevelopment, with owners Kronos Homes focusing on providing a “luxurious and healthy experience for the whole family to enjoy”.
A key part of Amendoeira’s offering is its extensive outdoor sporting facilities. They include a natural grass football field built to FIFA’s standards for professional teams, two
AstroTurf five-a-side football fields, six tennis courts and two communal swimming pools. The crowning jewel is, of course, the resort’s two renowned 18-hole golf courses. They include the award-winning Faldo Course, designed by Sir Nick Faldo, and the challenging O’Connor Jnr. Course.
