Enjoy the Summer sunsets at the top of Silves Castle with live music, great food, dance performances and even fire shows

– July 12, 2022

Sunset Secrets returns to Silves for yet another Summer edition. A series of sunset events will be held every Thursday at Silves Castle until August 4.

These sunset parties take place between 6.30pm (admission is allowed until 9.30pm) and 11pm and feature everything from live music to “relaxing massages”, dance performances and even live fire shows.

Local food and wine are also promoted at the event, with Silves’ wines and oranges taking centre stage.

Musical Programme

Five sessions are planned this year, with a different musical guest each evening – Quinteto Ana Alves (July 14), Silk Road (July 21), Terra Sul – Vítor Bacalhau & Ricardo Martins (July 28) and Electric Eye (August 4).

Tickets cost €5 per show and can be purchased online at Bol Silves, Fnac, Worten, El Corte Inglés, CTT Correios, Pousadas da Juventude or Serveasy kiosks. They can also be purchased at the castle on the day of the event.

For local residents, the cost is €2 if they purchase their ticket on the day of the event and show proof of residence. Admission is free for children aged 12 and under.

Organisers also note that the event will be filmed and photographed for marketing purposes.
