For travellers searching where to sleep and eat and interesting activities, the app Via Algarviana offers a trusted guide

The Via Algarve website and app have recently launched a “Certified Partner Network”, focused on providing walkers and cyclists with a trusted guide to the region’s interior, in response to the growing interest in more secluded areas of the Algarve.

The project aims to promote sustainable development to the interior areas of the Algarve region, offering travellers the opportunity to explore these territories with sustainable tourism in mind.

Currently in its early stages, Via Algarviana is featuring 40 local companies and small businesses that offer accommodation options for travellers, food, transport, activities, local commerce as well as tours.

All partners of Via Algarviana share the same values of protecting local natural and cultural heritage, and visitors booking through these partners can be assured that they are contributing to sustainable tourism and benefiting the host communities. As a result, they have a closer relationship with the locals and their culture, and get to enjoy unique and genuine experiences, as well as gain a deeper understanding of the area.

To find out more about the partner, travellers can visit the “Booking” section in the Via Algarviana website or App, where they can browse different options for accommodation, transport, local commerce, etc, and consult available partners and contact them directly to request more information or hire a service.

Visitors can even choose to navigate an interactive map, to easily find which partners they will encounter along the way. Participating companies identify themselves with the “partnership seal”.

For companies interested in joining the network, visit the Via Algarviana website to learn more about the project and contact the Via Algarviana management team at [email protected].
