The two-day programme combines the Nossa Senhora da Encarnação celebrations with a free electronic music party on Carvoeiro beach
Carvoeiro will celebrate its annual Beach Party on August 29, with thousands expected to gather for an evening of electronic music by the sea.
Running from 8pm until 3am on Saturday, August 29, the event will feature two stages, on the beach with headline performances by Deelight at midnight and Rushkaya at 1.30am, and at Largo da Praia, featuring DJs Mikas at 8pm and JUNIORK at 10pm.

The Beach Party forms part of the annual Nossa Senhora da Encarnação (Our Lady of the Incarnation) celebrations, centred around Praia do Carvoeiro and the chapel overlooking the beach.
The programme begins on August 29 with Mass at the Nossa Senhora da Encarnação chapel at 5.30pm, before attention turns to the Beach Party later in the evening.
Celebrations continue on August 30 with a more traditional programme. Mass will be held at the chapel at 6pm, followed by a procession carrying the image of Nossa Senhora da Encarnação through the streets of Carvoeiro.
Live music returns to Largo da Praia later that evening, with Cláudio Rosário performing from 8.30pm, followed by Remember Me at 9.30pm. Cláudio Rosário will return to the stage at 11pm to close the weekend’s entertainment.
The events are free to attend.
