The event is one of the largest free summer parties in Portugal

Lagoa’s municipality will host another edition of Carvoeiro’s most anticipated night of the year this June 15.

The event will return to the streets of the picturesque seaside town for its 10th edition, welcoming the summer season with its monochromatic theme.

Black and White Night in Carvoeiro promises a night filled with music in the streets and by the sea, as well as a big dance floor on the city’s main square where some of the biggest dance hits will be played.

There will be dance performances, magic shows, cinema screenings, and different stages scattered around the crowded streets of Carvoeiro, featuring different music genres for all tastes. Music and life will fill the town of Carvoeiro between 8.30pm and 3am.

The event’s first edition was held in 2014 as a way to help boost hotel occupancy in the municipality of Lagoa during the low season and enhance the tourist reputation of Carvoeiro and the municipality on a national and international scale. Over time, the Black & White Night has become one of Portugal’s biggest annual summer parties over the last 10 years, attracting over 30,000 national and foreign visitors in a single night.

For parking, Lagoa’s City Council has organised a regular line of free buses that will connect Carvoeiro and the various parking lots planned in Lagoa, which will be FATACIL, Intermarché, Apolónia, Aldi, Gramital (land located in front of Aldi). Buses will work continuously between 6pm and 4am.

The event is free to attend and everyone is encouraged to dress in white and/or black colour schemes.
