The Marina de Lagos Art Academy will host its annual cultural event promoting art in its various forms – painting, sculpture, music, and fashion – on September 13 at Lagos Marina.
This year’s event will not only showcase the works of participating artists but also welcome children to submit their paintings under the theme of “The Mermaid”.
A jury will select nine of the best artworks, and there will also be a public vote to choose winners from among the finalists.
In addition to the exhibition, both artists and visitors will have the opportunity to take part in a fashion parade, showcase their outfits, join a special photo session, and enjoy food, drinks, and live DJ music.
An online gallery will also be organised on the Marina de Lagos Art Academy’s Facebook page, where all participants can display their work (maximum A3 format).
Participation details
The deadline for submissions is May 31, and the collection of artworks and winner selection will take place by the end of July. Participation is free of charge.
