Five exquisite courses and five exceptional wines from the Douro region

Tivoli Carvoeiro Algarve Resort’s The One restaurant is hosting an exclusive wine dinner this November 7 (Friday), in partnership with Douro’s Quinta do Crasto, promising to be an unforgettable evening.
The One Restaurant has received the Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator magazine, establishing itself as a specialist in fine wines and offering exclusive experiences that showcase the best of contemporary cuisine paired with Portugal’s most celebrated vintages.
The special evening will have five moments, starting with a welcome drink of Crasto Rosé, a fresh and vibrant wine with a fruity and elegant profile, served alongside a selection of canapés to create the ideal atmosphere.
Next is the first course – crayfish with Jerusalem artichoke purée, lime and Oscietra Royal caviar, paired with Crasto Branco. Crafted from traditional Douro grape varieties, this wine offers a striking freshness, citrus and floral notes, perfectly complementing the dish’s delicate flavours and minerality.
The third course will be a dish of grouper with onion consommé and au jus with saffron crust and island cheese, accompanied by Crasto Altitude 430, a wine that reflects all the freshness and elegance of the Tinta Francisca and Touriga Nacional grape varieties, bringing a crispt and balanced touch to the experience, enhancing the richness and layered textures of the dish.
The main course will have a succulent beef tenderloin with smoked celery purée, boletus and chanterelles with black truffle, paired with Quinta do Crasto Tinta Roriz. This red wine, with its deep colour and robust structure, reveals aromas of ripe red fruit and notes of spices, which elevate the intensity of the dish.
To finish the night, a dessert of flexible dark chocolate, ice cream, and Quinta do Crasto olive oil pearls with griottines will be served with Crasto 10-Year-Old Tawny Port. This Port offers aromatic complexity and notes of honey, fig and subtle spices. On the palate, it reveals great freshness and excellent balance, ending the dinner with harmony and elegance.
The experience costs €85 per person, with water, coffee or tea included.
The One Restaurant is open every day for dinner between 7pm and 10pm.
