From community art and open shops to skateboarding lessons, acrobatic performances, workshops and more
Portimão’s Rua Direita will once again become a lively open-air cultural space on May 24, as InDireita Street Fest returns for its seventh edition.
The event runs from 10am to 10pm, bringing music, art, shopping and community activities into the city centre.
The programme includes local producers, an expanded children’s area, community art, open shops, skateboarding lessons and demonstrations, acrobatic performances, workshops, food stalls and live concerts, creating a full day of activity for all ages.

This year’s music line-up features Kumpania Algazarra, Flangelus, winners of this year’s Battle of the Bands in Portimão, and Zé Gordo e Los Cantigas.
With free entry, the festival continues to bring Rua Direita to life. Organised by Palco das Ondas Invisíveis Studio (P.O.I.S.), the association has been bringing regular events to the heart of Portimão since 2024, supporting local culture and urban life.
