Learn new techniques and enjoy hands-on artistic experiences in small-group sessions
Associação Teias Artísticas in Lagos is hosting a series of workshops throughout June, inviting participants to take a break from their daily routine and discover new techniques, meet like-minded people and rediscover the joy of creating something with their own hands.
From punch needle, acrylic painting on canvas, paper flower making and watercolour, to ceramics and the art of palm weaving, classes are held in intimate small-group sessions for all levels. Whether you’re a beginner or already have some experience, these workshops offer the perfect opportunity to learn, create and share creative moments.
Places are limited to six participants per workshop, so early booking is recommended.
There is also a ceramics exhibition by Zé Pedro Cortes de Brito on display throughout June. Bringing together a collection of previously unseen works, the exhibition marks the first public presentation of an entirely new body of work.
Inspired by the idea that “each work is first imagined and then brought to life”, the exhibition invites visitors into a world where imagination, craftsmanship and personal narratives come together and take shape through ceramics.
