A full day of Algarve music, wine, food and creative workshops for all ages
Morgado do Quintão winery is celebrating 10 years since releasing its first wines with a special edition of its annual Open House – Harvest Party on September 26.
Taking place at the historic Lagoa estate from 11am, the event will bring together live music, wine tastings, Algarve food, workshops, local producers and activities for children.
This year, the music programme will focus entirely on Algarve talent, with artists selected through an open call to the region’s musical community.
The Oliveira Stage will welcome Rodrigo Rebelo de Andrade, Clara Sergerie, The Songbook Trio, The Breezers and DJs Kobertor & B Side, whilst Flangelus, Sambambas and DJ Trippy Sound will perform on the Eira Stage.
“After 10 years, we wanted the music of this celebration to come from our own community,” said estate owner Filipe Caldas de Vasconcellos. “The Algarve has extraordinary musical talent and this stage now belongs to it.”
The programme will feature yoga on the vineyards, creative workshops, oyster tasting and an Algarve artisanal vinegar experience.
Wine will remain at the heart of the celebration, with winemaker Mariana Salvador leading two guided tastings exploring Morgado do Quintão’s wines, old vineyards and future direction.
Food will be prepared by Algarve-born chef João Viegas, alongside traditional regional dishes from the estate’s resident team, with a focus on local and seasonal produce.
Children’s activities will run from 12-noon to 6pm, with free access to the dedicated activities.
Tickets start at €15. Children aged four to 14 pay €7.50, whilst children under four enter free. Food, wine and selected experiences are charged separately.
