The 7th edition of ‘Jazz nas Adegas’ invites the public to discover the often-overlooked and top-quality wines of the Algarve, with the João Melro Quartet playing this January 26 and 27 at Quinta do Barradas in Silves.

Each session features a unique atmosphere, created specifically to provide the audience with an unforgettable experience.

During the event, three tastings of wine from the host producer will be served, accompanied by tapas made with regional products.

The jazz quartet, led by Faro drummer João Melro, stands out for its incredible improvisation abilities, transporting listeners to a world of instant musical creativity inspired by the rich traditions of New Orleans.

The quartet, also comprised of Kush Lescrooge on tenor saxophone, José Vieira on guitar and Luis Henrique on double bass, will portray the vibrant and eclectic spirit of this unique style, interpreting and reinventing the classics and offering listeners an authentic and exciting experience.

Tickets

The first session will take place on Friday (26th), at 9pm, and the second on Saturday (27th), at 5pm.

Tickets for each session cost €20 and will be available for sale online through BOL or at FNAC, Worten, El Corte Inglés, CTT Correios, Pousadas da Juventude, and Serveasy Kiosques.
