– December 26, 2024
On December 5, as part of the City Day celebrations, Portimão unveiled its new coworking space, located in the recently renovated Lota building, on the Ribeirinha area, where the Tourist Office also operates.
Boasting a modern and welcoming atmosphere, the first floor features a multipurpose room for shared use, meetings, and events, whilst the second floor offers 16 workstations and a private acoustic booth for online meetings.
The new space aims to “strengthen the local business community”, and to promote collaboration and innovation for entrepreneurs wanting to develop projects in the heart of the city, shared the municipality in a press release.
With this addition, Portimão is further establishing itself as a “dynamic hub for entrepreneurship in the Algarve region”.
