The 5th edition of the gastronomic festival once again brings top and emerging chefs from Portugal to the heart of Portimão

On September 7-8 (Saturday and Sunday), Portimão invites everyone to try dozens of Portuguese dishes at the 5th edition of the Arrebita Portimão festival, featuring several renowned and emerging Portuguese chefs who will be cooking delicious dishes for just €7 each.

The line-up will include Michelin-starred chefs Vincent Farges from Epur (Lisbon), Natalhie Inês from SÁLA (Lisbon) and José Lopes from Carvoeiro’s Bon Bon.

In addition to the showcooking events, some of the guest chefs will be sharing recipes, techniques, and tips live on the Cepsa stage.

The event will also have a Producers’ Market, with a vast selection of the Algarve’s best traditional products on display – such as olive oil, handicraft, firewaters and liqueurs, wines and regional sweets, as well as live music by DJs, the Party Brass Band and street performances by local artists.

On Saturday, Rui Sequeira (Alameda, Faro), Lydia Brás (Stramuntana, Vila Nova de Gaia), Hugo Nascimento (Naperon, Odeceixe) and Pedro Teles (Rural 150, Valada do Ribatejo) will lead the showcooking events, followed by Verónica Catarino (Mar&Nada, Lisbon), Márcio Silva (Copo Alto, Lisbon), Flávio Gonçalves (Javali, Bragança), and Filipe Bilro (Larau, Estremoz) on Sunday.
