The Record International Masters 2025 will bring together Benfica, Sporting, Barcelona and current European champions Palma Futsal
Portimão Arena will be the stage of the Record International Masters futsal tournament, taking place on August 23 and 24, bringing together four of the sport’s leading clubs: Benfica, Sporting, Barcelona, and Palma Futsal.
One of the world’s premier friendly futsal tournaments returns once again to the Algarve, and for the first time, there will be also the Youth Masters Futsal, a tournament for local youth teams from the Algarve.
After a one-year break due to the Futsal World Cup, the seventh edition of the Record International Masters returns under the organisation of Sigma Stars. Fans can expect top-level futsal action as Portugal’s champion Benfica and runner-up Sporting face Europe’s best, including European champion Palma Futsal and Spanish runner-up Barcelona.
On Saturday, Benfica will face Barcelona at 11am, while Sporting will take on Palma Futsal at 3pm.
The action will continue on Sunday, with Sporting and Barcelona to compete at 11am and Benfica and Palma Futsal bringing the tournament to a close at 2pm.
Tickets are available at several outlets in Portimão (Portimão Arena, TEMPO theatre, Portimão museum), as well as online at Bol.pt, priced at €5 per game, with full event details on the official website.
As for the Youth Masters Futsal, it will take place from August 20 to 23, exclusively featuring regional clubs, with teams including CRD Santaluziense, GEJUPCE Portimão, Portimonense SC, São Pedro Futsal Clube de Faro, CDR Pedra Mourinha, Louletano DC, SVRDC Ferragudense, and UD Castromarinense. The final will take place on Saturday, August 23 at 7pm at Portimão Arena.
