The tournament brings together more than 200 gymnasts from across Portugal
The Portimão Arena will once again host an exciting and graceful sporting event this weekend. The VII Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament, organised by CIRM – Clube de Instrução e Recreio Mexilhoeirense, will bring together more than 200 athletes.
Gymnasts will represent clubs from across mainland Portugal, as well as from the Islands.
On Saturday, January 10, the tournament will begin at 9am with the Juniors 1 Division. This will be followed by the Initiates categories and several CIRM exhibitions, running through the morning. The afternoon programme continues at 2.10pm with the Youth 1 Division, followed by Seniors at 4pm. From 5.20pm to 7pm, the Juniors 2 Division will take to the floor, with the closing ceremony scheduled for 7.30pm.
The second and final day, Sunday, January 11, starts at 9am with the Initiates 2 Division. The Benjamins and Infants categories will compete from 12.20pm, followed by the Youth division at 2.10pm and Seniors at 4.20pm. The final ceremony will be held at 6.10pm.
The tournament is free to attend and open to all ages. Visitors are invited to enjoy elegant and colourful performances in a family-friendly atmosphere, with no tickets required.
