Health fair, free tennis and padel lessons, workshops and family activities
Tennis & Padel Club Carvoeiro will host the 5th Health & Padel Event on April 19 (Saturday), bringing together residents, visitors and local businesses for a day focused on sports, well-being and community.
The event combines a health fair with around 30 stands, a padel tournament, workshops, talks, free tennis and padel lessons, and family-friendly activities. Food and drinks will also be available throughout the day.
The health fair will showcase products and services related to well-being and healthy living. Visitors will have the chance to meet local professionals in areas such as nutrition, fitness, coaching and holistic therapies, discover new products and receive free health checks and advice.
Alongside health and well-being services, a selection of lifestyle products will also be available, including clothing and jewellery, creating a lively atmosphere.
Throughout the afternoon, several talks and workshops will be led by experienced professionals. Talks are free to attend, whilst workshops may require a small participation fee.
The Lovitall Padel Tournament will be played in the Americano format, where players rotate partners during short matches. Two sessions are scheduled during the day – the first from 10am to 12pm (Advanced Americano) and the second from 2pm to 4pm for mixed levels. Participation costs €25 per person and includes a BBQ meal and one drink. Places are limited and advance registration is required.
Beginners will also have the opportunity to try the sports with free sessions. Try Tennis lessons will take place from 11am to 1pm, followed by free padel lessons from 1pm to 2pm.
Food and drinks will be available throughout the day, including a BBQ served between 1pm and 3pm with burgers, chicken and salads, as well as vegetarian options. The club’s bar and restaurant will remain open, and additional healthy food options will be available.
Designed as a family-friendly day out, the event will also include activities for children, such as a trampoline and a bouncy castle.
Organised by Lovitall, the event has grown steadily over the years and has become a popular gathering for people interested in health, well-being, sports and an active lifestyle in the Algarve, with previous editions attracting between 200 and 300 visitors.
The event will run from 10am to 5pm, and entrance is free.
