Street food is the inspiration behind one of the latest additions to the Ready-to-Eat section at Lagos Intermarché.
The new Street Burger offers a convenient alternative for anyone looking for a quick meal, whether during a busy working day, on the way to the beach, or simply when there is little time – or desire – to cook.
The burger combines a soft, lightly toasted bun with a beef patty and a selection of ingredients chosen to bring different flavours and textures to every bite, finished with a creamy sauce. At home, simply heat it up and serve with a side of chips or a fresh salad.
More than simply bringing the concept of street food into the store, the Street Burger follows the same approach as the other products available from the Ready-to-Eat section: freshly prepared each day by the Lagos Intermarché team. As part of the Feito Aqui (Made Here) range, it combines the convenience of a ready-made meal with the freshness of daily preparation.
The idea is to make this style of food an easy option for everyday meals, without having to seek out a street food event or specialist venue. According to the management team, the new addition shows that convenience can still offer something a little different.
